We are looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our West London team, delivering responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week. The role includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment. To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the West London area. A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
You must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a, consistent track record of delivering high quality service, Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information. Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills. Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or an equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
Holidays: We offer 25 27 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays. We will also give you the opportunity to buy up to an additional 5 days. You will also receive additional holiday in line with your length of service (1 extra day per 5 years service, capped at 4 days).
