A leading healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a Joinery and Estates Technician to ensure the effective maintenance of healthcare facilities. The role involves delivering high-quality maintenance services, supporting a customer-focused Estates department, and maintaining compliance in a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building maintenance, particularly in the healthcare sector, and relevant qualifications.
Location: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

To provide joinery services and flexible minor building cross-trade skills (including tiling, glazing, drainage, roofing) to support NHS GG&C's healthcare facilities. Ensures the safe delivery of patient care through effective maintenance, repair, and installation services that deliver quality and value for money.
The Estates Department ensures the delivery of uninterrupted, high-quality healthcare by maintaining a safe, comfortable, and compliant built environment. Responsibilities include planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and installation of critical plant and equipment supporting clinical services. The department also manages infection control in the built environment and provides technical support for clinical service developments, including project planning and tendering.
