Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD in Derby is seeking a skilled joiner to carry out joinery work in occupied and void properties, including installation and refurbishment of kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms.

You will undertake joinery tasks for conversions and new builds, fit doors, frames, skirting boards and architraves, and work with other trades to deliver capital improvement projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of joinery work within occupied and void properties.
• Install and refurbish kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms.
• Undertake joinery works associated with property conversions and new build developments.
• Fit doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens and other internal fixtures.
• Work alongside other trades to deliver capital improvement projects.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards.
• Comply with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
• Identify and report any additional repair or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
