ABM is seeking a skilled joiner/handyman to deliver responsive maintenance and a range of repairs across client estates in Belfast. The role covers response repairs, void works, roofing tasks, and general handyman duties, with a focus on safety and quality service.
You will survey sites, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs while coordinating with the facilities management team. A UK driving licence is preferred and experience in joinery and maintenance is essential.

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Efficiency and Cost-effective Collaboration Excellence Trust Measure Work diligently to complete joinery and handyman tasks efficiently, minimising downtime for clients. Utilise resources effectively to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising onquality. Collaborate with other members of the facilities management team, including technicians, supervisors, and project managers. Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate and prioritise tasks for optimal project outcomes. Conduct routine inspections of various emergency lighting systems throughout the client's facility. Test and verify the functionality of emergency lights and exit signs. Replace failed equipment, lamps, battery, ballasts, gear trays, fittings etc.
Ensure that all emergency lighting fixtures are properly positioned and free from obstructions. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities. Stay up to date with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Report any safety hazards or violations discovered during inspections. Troubleshoot and resolve emergency lighting system malfunctions promptly.
