Job summary

David Lewis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Joiner to help maintain and enhance facilities at a 170-acre site. You will perform repairs, installations, and new builds, mentoring others in joinery while delivering high-quality workmanship for the people we support.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised joinery qualification (CITB/apprenticeship or City & Guilds), has at least 3 years of relevant experience, and can work independently within a small, close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Continuously learning new skills and techniques to enhance practice.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Joiner, you will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the facilities at David Lewis, a 170-acre site that provides crucial support for people with disabilities. You will bring your expertise to the role, undertaking a variety of repairs, installations, and new builds across the site, contributing directly to the well-being of the people we support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out repairs and installations to ensure the site remains in top condition.
• Instructing and mentoring others in joinery and maintenance techniques.
• Be able to build kitchen units etc.
