Job Cost Accountant (JCA)

Reports To:

Controller

The JCA works with owners and the office staff to ensure that all jobs are costed properly, accurately, and follow the guidelines for Job Cost Accountant. You will practice continuous improvement daily as you establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow team members!

Team Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary of $53,726.00 - $63,441.00 per year based on experience and certifications

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):

• Manage all phases of QuickBooks and job cost accounting
• Prepare all financial statements and reports
• Manage all subcontractor data in the company platform
• Review job costs and overheads for corrective action
• Assist with obtaining and reporting key performance indicator (KPI) data
• Control banking activities and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Manage the A/R process, including customer invoicing and collections
• Manage the A/P process, including vendor invoicing and payments
• Establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow employees
• Assist other team members when needed and foster positive interdepartmental relationships
• Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records
