Job summary

Right2Work is seeking a committed Job Coach to join our Supported Internship team in Carlisle. You will help young adults with learning disabilities or autism identify suitable work placements, starting with classroom-based sessions and progressing to on-site coaching.

The role requires a Full Driving license and vehicle use for work; an Enhanced DBS check is required. It is a permanent, term-time-only position offering 21 hours per week and a pro rata salary.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to engage and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Good understanding of SEND and ability to adapt support accordingly.
• Must hold Full Driving license and use of a vehicle for work.
• Enhanced DBS required for successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support interns in developing employability and independence skills.
• Deliver classroom-based sessions during the initial programme phase.
• Provide in-work support and job coaching in placement settings.
• Liaise with employers and support networks to ensure positive placement experiences.
