About the role: Student Employment Support Worker (Job Coach)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Student Employment Support Worker (Job Coach) to join our supportive team at Guildford College. In this role, you will provide tailored support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) enrolled in our Employability Programmes, within the Learners with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities (LLDD) department.
As a Job Coach, you’ll play a vital role in helping students of all abilities develop key employability skills through active participation in external work placements. Working closely with the Lead Job Coach, you’ll ensure the smooth daily operation of these work-based learning environments. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to support across multiple Learning Companies based on need.
In addition to delivering practical coaching, you will monitor student progress, assess performance, and guide learners in achieving their individual goals and learning outcomes.
This is a fixed-term, full-time role working 37 hours per week during term-time based at our Guildford College campus. The contract ends in July 2027.
