Job summary

Elekta in Crawley is looking for an Applications Lead to enhance and support our Atlassian tools, with a strong focus on Jira Cloud within the R&D Programs. You will help shape tool strategy and ensure reliable operation across teams.

Based in the Engineering Tools Stream, you’ll manage deployments, governance, and user adoption, collaborating with PMO, IT Services and business functions to deliver secure and efficient Jira Cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Atlassian products with emphasis on Jira Cloud administration in a medium/large deployment.
• Experience with agile/lean approaches and governance for tools like Jira.
• Vendor management experience and IT budget oversight are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, deployments, performance and support of Atlassian software with focus on Jira Cloud.
• Lead evaluation, configuration and deployment of enhancements to apps and integrations.
• Support internal software roll-out and user adoption.
• Collaborate with PMO and IT Services to harmonise support processes, incident and access management.
• Create SDLC governance documentation and access/Roles & Permissions models.
• Coordinate with external vendors.
