Weston Beamor, based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to uphold our high jewellery quality standards from casting through to finished goods. The role requires attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to work flexibly across products.

You will inspect components at various production stages, assess workmanship, and make decisions to pass, repair, or reject items while reporting defects and driving quality improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in jewellery manufacturing, jewellery production, or jewellery quality control.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident making independent decisions and knowing when to escalate.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under time and volume pressure.

Responsabilités

• Inspect jewellery and components at different production stages (casting, mounting, setting, finishing).
• Assess workmanship and quality against standards; decide pass, repair, or reject.
• Identify defects and report recurring quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and progressive documentation of quality checks.
• Support Production and Quality teams to resolve issues and keep production moving.
