Job summary

Lanes Group Plc is seeking an HGV Jetting Assistant to support the HGV Jetting Operative with high-pressure jetting tasks and site safety. You will assist with setup, inspections, and documentation on an electronic tablet, ensuring compliance with method statements and safety rules.

Full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required. Training will be provided on Water Jetting, Banksman, NRSWA, and related safety courses as part of joining a nationwide utilities provider focused on

Qualifications

• Experience with high-pressure jetting operations is desirable.
• Able to follow safe system of work and method statements.
• Willingness to perform site-based tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HGV jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment.
• Carry out inspections to identify blockages, leaks and resolve issues.
• Update and complete site documentation using an electronic tablet.
• Ensure works comply with method statements and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and tools and ensure they are in good condition.
• Wear and maintain PPE at all times.

Job description

Anglian Water delivers essential jetting, CCTV surveying, and tankering services. Operating across the whole of East Anglia, the team play a vital role in maintaining and protecting the wastewater network, ensuring reliable service for customers while supporting environmental compliance and operational efficiency., We are currently recruiting for a HGV Jetting Assistant to join our team, you will be working closely with the HGV Jetting Operative to carry out high pressure jetting.,

Responsibilities

• Assist the HGV jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Operating machinery and tools safely.
• Carry out inspections & identify possible blockages, leaks and resolve the issues.
• Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

  Jetting background ideally from Utilities
• Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points
• Training will be provided on: Water Jetting Association Red or blue book, Banksman, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Medium risk confined space.
