Job summary

Lanes Group is a leading nationwide utility services provider, operating a depot network across the UK. The role involves driving a high specification jetting and vacuumation unit, clearing blockages and performing safety and records checks.

Training will be provided and the position is based in Stockton-on-Tees with 40 hours per week. You will work closely in a small team, liaising with customers, maintaining equipment, and adhering to company values.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with up to 6 penalty points preferred.
• A valid CPC is desirable.
• In date CSCS would be advantageous, but can be obtained if necessary.

Department:
Drainage/Depot Network consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year.

This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners.

Purpose of the role:

You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units. You will also operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.

Please note: full training will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving company vehicle.

Key Requirements:

Skills & Experience:

• HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this can be obtained if necessary.

About the Role:

• Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Location: Stockton-on-Tees
• Salary:£15 - £17 per hour dependant on experience
