Job summary

Ogier in Jersey seeks an Associate to provide technically sound corporate, investment funds and finance advice for the Jersey-based BVI in Europe team. You will build client relationships and contribute to delivering high-quality service across a range of matters.

The role includes supporting senior fee earners, producing fee estimates, and coaching juniors while maintaining strong project management and client communication. A 3–4 year PQE and top-tier education are expected.

Qualifications

• PQE of 3–4 years in corporate law.
• 2:1 degree, LPC with Commendation/Distinction.
• Experience at a Magic/Silver Circle firm preferred.
• Strong drafting and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technically sound legal advice to clients under supervision.
• Deliver chargeable hours and manage WIP.
• Develop fee estimates and quotations.
• Keep clients informed on fees and disbursements.
• Coach juniors and develop client relationships.
