Job summary

JD.com, also known as JINGDONG, invites you to join the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program in the UK. This placement gives undergraduates or masters students hands-on experience in our campus recruitment team in central London, with 40 hours per week over 3–6 months.

You'll collaborate with HR and business leads, manage multiple hiring requests during peak season, promote JD.com at universities, and gain genuine HR exposure while building your professional network across our global business.

Qualifications

• Currently studying toward an undergraduate or master’s degree with ability to complete a placement year.
• Available to start August/September 2026 and work in central London.
• Willing to work full-time 40 hours per week and adapt to deadlines.
• Bold, proactive, and capable of taking ownership and contributing to the team.

Responsibilities

• Work with business leads and HR managers to understand recruitment requirements.
• Take ownership to manage multiple hiring requests during peak season.
• Promote JD.com to universities and attend UK and EU careers fairs.
• Create social content with the Employer Brand team and spread the word about JD.com.

About Your Program

You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3-6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

We're looking for an intern or placement student to join our UK based campus recruitment team and help to get behind the scenes of connecting young people with great opportunities. It's a chance to join a new team and build your HR experience and knowledge alongside adding value to your career and our business.

Taking ownership to manage multiple requests for hiring during our peak season

Go Global! You'll get exposure to new cultures, languages and learn about international business quicker than you could imagine.

You'll get the autonomy to make hiring decisions and get to see the whole HR process (perfect for preparing you for the graduate market next year!).

Providing an amazing candidate experience that creates a 'wow' moment for the candidates - especially those who are not successful.

Collaborate with some of the worlds best universities to support with promoting our roles and JD.com, including attending careers fairs in UK and EU.

Creating real, social content and working with our Employer Brand Specialist to spread the word about JD.com.

About You

Currently studying toward an undergraduate or masters degree with ability to complete a placement year or internship starting August/Sept 2026

Willing to work in central London (Green Park) and join the team 5 days a week initially in the office, reducing over the course of your internship.

Comfortable working with changing deadlines and priorities but able to see opportunities to improve ways of working too.

You are bold enough to take on responsibility, drive results and generally get stuck in to help the team succeed. Humility is key to succeeding at JD.com.

Please note this role is full‑time, 40 hours per week.
