Job summary

Luxoft in London is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join an Agile team rewriting an enterprise platform using Angular, Java, and Spring. You will design scalable architecture, lead development, and mentor engineers to deliver a faster, more stable, and scalable solution.

Requirements include 10+ years of Java (Java 11+), strong Spring Boot expertise, SQL databases, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes with cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of team lead experience.
• 10+ years of Java experience (Java 11+).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Solid testing skills (JUnit, Mockito).
• Ability to mentor others and work in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and drive architectural decisions.
• Design and develop scalable Java applications.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in architecture and technical decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
