Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland in London is seeking a Java - Software Engineer at Consultant level to join our technology practice and help deliver digital transformation engagements. You will contribute across code, tests and documentation while collaborating within an agile Scrum team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong Java and Spring Boot experience, plus familiarity with Docker and open-source tools, and a proactive approach to learning and leadership within your domain.

Qualifications

• Excellent hands-on experience with Java and related technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot and modern Java ecosystems.
• Strong practices in TDD, unit tests, and test automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling and Continuous Delivery.
• Knowledge of open-source tools and open standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality implementation and documentation for critical functionality.
• Deliver code, unit tests, feature tests, stubs and integration tests.
• Operate in an agile environment as part of a scrum team and participate in sprint rituals.
• Work with multiple skills to understand designs, requirements and triage issues.
• Create and document low-level designs.
• Assist in promotion and delivery of digital transformation engagements.
