Job summary

LA International in Edinburgh is seeking a Principal Engineer - Java Microservices Developer for a 6‑month hybrid contract. Lead design, development, and support of scalable Java microservices within an enterprise setting.

You will provide technical leadership, contribute to solution design, and collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with strong Java and cloud-native development expertise.
• Experience leading technical delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience with API gateways and microservices architecture.

The Role
