Java Developer - 2-4 years

Salary: £35-45K

Your New Role :

As a hands-on Java Developer with the client, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality SaaS solutions that delight our customers. You will work on challenging agile-based software development projects within a highly experienced and talented team that will support your learning, development, and growth.

What are the necessary qualifications for success?

• Java programming experience, particularly with web services, web applications, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases.
• An understanding of web architectures, with experience in Single Page Applications, preferably using REST services.
• Strong initiative and ability to prioritize work aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Experience working in an agile environment, using tools such as GitHub and Jira.
• A focus on quality, including unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to SaaS microservices and developing enterprise solutions on AWS.
• Previous experience with Machine Learning, especially NLP technologies, is advantageous.
• Experience with technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, Containers, Postgres, or Kafka.
• Experience integrating third-party applications via APIs, documented or otherwise.
• Knowledge of development best practices related to security, scalability, and performance.
