Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer developing complex cloud-based solutions in the financial services sector.
• Strong Java backend development skills and experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitLab, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain modern cloud-enabled Java applications to support middle office processing.
• Provide technical recommendations for enhancements and new initiatives; participate in architecture discussions.
• Develop clean, secure, and efficient code in Java; work with scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure SDLC compliance and security best practices.
• Utilize GitLab and Terraform for CI/CD, automation, and IaC; ensure production readiness and monitoring.
