Job summary

AMS, on behalf of Deutsche Bank, is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a 6-month contract based in the bank’s London office on a hybrid model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.

The role focuses on delivering cloud-native Java applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and React/Angular, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalable design across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java 17 and modern Java development practices.
• Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and related ecosystem technologies.
• Experience building modern UIs with React and/or Angular.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native development on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong API design, system integration, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in performance engineering, optimization, monitoring, and capacity planning.
