Job summary

The Witherslack Group in Sunderland is seeking an IT Technician to support our sites across the region, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting technology in offices, classrooms and homes.

You will need a driving license and a proactive, customer-focused approach, with training and career development on offer as part of our market-leading care and education provider.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Operating systems and Office applications.
• iPad support experience (educational environment preferred).
• Strong networking knowledge for classroom and office setups.
• Hardware and software knowledge to install and troubleshoot devices.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites across the region to install, maintain and troubleshoot IT equipment.
• Provide daily IT support to staff in offices, classrooms and homes.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to keep systems running smoothly.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You'll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
