Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot technology across our sites in the South East. You will support end users in offices, classrooms and homes, providing proactive IT help and daily technical guidance to help create brighter futures for our young people.

A driving license is required as you will travel between sites to deliver timely IT support and maintain equipment, ensuring systems stay up and running across the group.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• iPad support experience, preferably in an educational environment.
• Good networking knowledge and IT hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to sites regionally with a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fix technology in offices, classrooms and homes.
• Provide daily IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to keep systems running across sites.

Our IT Technicians are people who dazzle our end users every day, by installing, maintaining, or fixing technology in their offices, classrooms and homes while offering them daily support and expertise to support them in their goal of providing aspirational environments for all our young people.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You’ll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
