Job summary

Concero is seeking an IT Technician Apprentice to support school communities in using education technology confidently. You will provide broad 1st line IT support, network management, and build strong relationships with school staff while ensuring SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ in any subject.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+.
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer portfolio and respond to incidents logged by the customer or on behalf of the customer.
• Manage problems to resolution for network or equipment failures as defined by the SLA.
• Ensure all work activity records are updated in real time with detailed call notes.
• Act as point of contact for technical issues with manufacturers, suppliers, ISP and external support.
• Manage day-to-day tasks to meet service levels; implement proactive maintenance and changes.
• Seek changes that add value and deliver service efficiently.
• Identify and raise issues, offer solutions, and maintain strong customer interfaces.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
