JOB TITLE: IT Technician

LOCATION: West London

SALARY: £26,000 – 29,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time/ Office-based | Permanent

This role would provide an opportunity to work for a prestigious secondary school in West London. THE IT TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY:

The IT Technician will provide first and second line support to users across the School and support the IT services team to deliver a high quality service. This role will be ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to continue to develop their IT skills and career opportunities in a positive environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing first and second IT line support
  2. Troubleshooting support calls which have been logged on the IT Service Desk
  3. Providing training to users who have logged tickets in the IT Service Desk which do not fall under a technical nature
  4. Proactively walking the school sites to check IT equipment and log any faults or damage in the service-desk
  5. Inducting new members of staff on the use of technology/IT at the Trust

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

Essential Criteria:

  1. Experience of working in a technical service environment
  2. Experience of supporting, maintaining, and upgrading server and network systems
  3. Experience of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Experience of working in an educational setting
  2. Experience of communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
