Xavier Catholic Education Trust in Chertsey is seeking an enthusiastic IT Technician to join the XCET IT team. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support staff and students, and help ensure that IT services run reliably and securely.
The role involves proactive maintenance, monitoring network performance, safeguarding compliance, and visiting multiple schools to provide on-site assistance and contribute to trust-wide IT projects.
Hours: 36 hours per week, full-time (Monday to Friday).

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed IT Technician to join the Xavier Catholic Education Trust (XCET) IT team based in Chertsey. The IT Technician will be required to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support staff and students, and help ensure that all IT services run reliably and securely. The position also involves proactive maintenance, monitoring network performance, and adhering to data protection and safeguarding standards. The successful candidate will also be expected to support and visit multiple schools within XCET as required, providing on-site assistance and contributing to trust-wide IT projects. Strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
