Job summary

Teaching Personnel seeks an IT Technician to join a central Trust IT team supporting multiple schools across Greater London and Essex. You will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for PCs, laptops, and software, and help manage Windows OS and Active Directory environments.

You will work across several school sites, configure hardware, support AV equipment, and assist with network troubleshooting while following health, safety and IT security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Office 365.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and basic networking.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience within an educational environment would be desirable.

We are seeking a proactive and motivated IT Technician to join a central Trust IT team supporting multiple schools across Greater London and Essex. You will provide technical support to staff, students and visitors, working across different school sites and supporting a wide range of IT systems and equipment.

Location: Greater London & Essex

Sector: Education / IT Support

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices and software
