Job summary

Air IT Group is seeking an IT Technical Consultant to lead technical projects for a major customer from discovery to handover, based at their London office, with autonomy and support from a collaborative team of experts.

The role focuses on delivering solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking and security, translating requirements into practical, scalable outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex IT projects in a customer-facing or enterprise tech environment.
• Strong expertise across Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server technologies: Active Directory, Hyper‑V, Failover Clustering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, identity, networking and storage services.
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies, SANs and VMware vSphere.
• Strong networking knowledge: VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs.
• Proven ability to lead technical project delivery end-to-end.
• Clear, confident ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of IT projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking and security technologies.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand goals and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Design, configure, deploy and migrate technologies with minimal supervision.
• Own projects from discovery through to completion and handover.
• Produce clear technical documentation, implementation plans and transition materials.
• Identify risks and challenges early to maintain momentum for successful outcomes.
• Contribute technical expertise during design and scoping discussions.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide a trusted consultancy experience.
• Ensure work aligns with Air IT Group methodologies and security standards.
• Maintain accurate project records and updates throughout the lifecycle.
