Job summary

Scholars' Education Trust is seeking an experienced IT Team Leader based at Priory Academy, Dunstable, to support Dunstable Icknield Lower School and Watling Lower School. The role leads the IT/Media Technician and oversees network infrastructure, servers, workstations and software, ensuring timely ICT support.

The successful candidate will drive the development of ICT within the classroom, including VR headsets and 1-1 iPad schemes, and provide strategic input on IT service development to meet

• The successful candidate will be expected to: Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT Support for Staff and Students including: Line manage the onsite IT/Media Technician.
• Manage the network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and software.
• Ensure that clients' ICT Support requests are dealt with effectively and within a timely manner.
• Maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and support the school's use of technology within the classroom such as VR Headsets and 1-1 iPad scheme.
• Advise on strategic development of IT service.
• Ensure the Teaching and Learning needs of the staff and leadership are met.
