Job summary

Scholars’ Education Trust in Dunstable is seeking an IT Team Leader based at Priory Academy to oversee IT/Media operations across Priory Academy and partner schools. The role focuses on delivering robust ICT services and developing digital learning tools in a dynamic educational environment.

The successful candidate will line manage the IT/Media Technician, oversee infrastructure, and drive strategic development of IT for Teaching and Learning, including VR headsets and 1-1 iPad schemes.

Responsibilities

• Line manage the onsite IT/Media Technician.
• Manage the network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and software.
• Ensure that clients’ ICT Support requests are dealt with effectively and within a timely manner.
• Maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and support the school’s use of technology within the classroom such as VR Headsets and 1-1 iPad scheme.
• Advise on strategic development of IT service.
• Ensure the Teaching and Learning needs of the staff and leadership are met.
