Job summary

Scholars’ Education Trust is seeking an IT Team Leader to support Priory Academy (Dunstable) and partner schools. The role combines hands-on 2nd/3rd line IT support with team leadership and strategic IT planning.

Based at Priory Academy, the post is permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks, with a salary from £41,197 to £43,902 and fringe allowance. You will oversee the network, devices, and classroom technology while developing digital solutions for learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2nd/3rd line IT support in education or similar environment.
• Ability to manage network infrastructure, servers and software.
• Experience line-managing staff and coordinating IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support for staff and students.
• Line manage the onsite IT/Media Technician.
• Manage the network infrastructure, servers, workstations and software.
• Ensure that ICT support requests are dealt with effectively and within a timely manner.
• Maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and support the school’s use of technology within the classroom such as VR Headsets and 1-1 iPad scheme.
• Advise on strategic development of IT service.
• Ensure the Teaching and Learning needs of the staff and leadership are met.
