Job summary

Justteachers is seeking a part-time IT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in September 2026, covering lessons in Peterborough for the full academic year. The role focuses on delivering ICT/Computing for KS3–KS4 with a strong emphasis on progress, assessment, and personal growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Computing at KS3/KS4.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS3/KS4 to drive progress.
  • Use assessment to identify gaps, track attainment and inform planning.
  • Differentiate tasks and resources for a range of learning needs.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams in ICT/CS.
  • Provide clear feedback to support next steps and progress.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and maintain high standards of behaviour.

About the role

Justteachers is seeking a full time IT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in September 2026 in the Peterborough to cover on a long term basis.

School are looking for someone to join them on a part-time basis and the role is expected to last the full academic year.
