Empowering Learning are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Oldham to recruit a QTS ICT Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

You will deliver ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting students to develop digital skills and confidence. The role runs from September to Christmas with potential for extension or permanent opportunity.

Location: Oldham

Contract: Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:00pm
Duration: September 2026 to Christmas 2026 Potential Extension / Permanent Opportunity
Pay: 160- 225 per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Oldham to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS ICT Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive ICT department from September through to Christmas, with the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring ICT lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to develop their digital skills, knowledge and confidence.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching ICT across KS3 and KS4;
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for ICT and inspiring young people.
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering your recent employment.
• The right to work in the UK.
