Job summary

McBride International in Yeovilton, United Kingdom, seeks an IT professional to perform basic maintenance of switches and firewalls, install and maintain server and client software, and support a bespoke TEPA server and its database.

Responsibilities include loading Keymat to TCE621M devices, assisting senior engineers, testing new systems, and supporting VDI, EPO, and backup tasks. Prior NATO-related exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vocational IT training or Diploma with 5 years in IT System Administration.
• Intermediate network maintenance and configuration experience.
• Significant IT service desk support experience.
• Experience handling multiple IT systems in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Basic maintenance of Switches and Firewalls
• Install and maintain multiple server and client software applications
• Maintain Bespoke Server application TEPA and its database
• Loading Keymat to TCE621M devices
• Escorting and assisting 3rd level engineers
• Assist with testing and verification of new systems
• Assist with VEEAM Backup
• Maintaining documentation on assigned systems
• Support to VDI maintenance, and thin clients
• Assist with EPO DLP
• Install Sharepoint and SQL server patches
• Performs other duties as may be required
