Job summary

Forward Institute is seeking an IT systems manager to keep the engine of our organisation running smoothly. You will oversee IT platforms, data governance, service delivery and security, and coordinate with teams to roll out new capabilities using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Notion and Salesforce.

You’ll own platform administration, set data standards, automate workflows with AI where possible, and ensure DPIAs and data protection remain a core, daily discipline across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering IT operations and digital workflows across multiple platforms.
• Strong data governance and privacy-minded mindset with practical security practices.
• Ability to implement and improve operational workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support, access control, and service delivery.
• Own external IT support relationships, onboarding/offboarding, access reviews, licences, and password management rollout.
• Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Notion, Salesforce, and other systems, including config and troubleshooting.
• Design and implement platform integrations and automations to improve efficiency.
• Lead readiness reviews for SharePoint and Notion, including AI-assisted knowledge retrieval testing.
• Oversee data protection across the organisation and maintain relevant documentation.
