Job summary

Aquila ATMS in Whiteley is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team and lead day-to-day operation of the IT environment. You will help keep systems secure, reliable and performing at their best, working with the IT Infrastructure Team Lead, Security Engineer and Business Systems colleagues.

This hands-on role requires strong expertise across cloud and on-premises Microsoft environments, identities, endpoint management, networks and security, with a focus on continuous

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, networks and software services.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain workstations, servers, virtual environments, networks, software and SaaS services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure and Intune, including licences and security configuration.
• Strengthen operational resilience through backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching and cyber security controls.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point, resolving complex issues and providing guidance and documentation.
• Lead Aquila’s annual Cyber Essentials Plus readiness work and contribute to infrastructure projects.
