Job summary

Royal Academy of Arts in London is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations, both on-site and in the cloud, and provide third-line support as needed.

The role requires strong knowledge of VMware, Veeam, Office 365, Exchange Online and Azure AD, plus Cisco networking and TCP/IP. On-call weekend support (every third weekend, 10:00–17:00) is required.

Qualifications

Substantial experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in operating systems, system administration tools and workstation support.
Knowledge of VMware, Veeam, Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD and networking.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations (physical and virtual).
Provide third-line IT helpdesk support as allocated.
Assist with on-call support on a rotating weekend basis (10am–5pm).
