Job description

We are delighted to be working with a Northampton based professional service company. They are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide 1st/2nd line support to staff both remotely and in-office


• Support, maintain and develop IT infrastructure and systems


• Setup and onboard new starters with IT equipment and accounts


• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and service providers


• Monitor security threats to the company network and severs


• Assist in the implementation of new software


• Escalate urgent and complex issues when required

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in similar IT Support or Service Desk role


• Previous experience administrating Active Directory and M365


• Good understanding of networking and cloud infrastructure


• Keenness to learn and develop IT skills further


• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a range of stakeholders


• Full UK driving licence
