IT Support Technician

Position: Permanent, full-time, fully office-based, Monday to Friday, in central Staplehurst. We’re growing and seeking a qualified, tech-savvy IT Support Technician with experience in Active Directory, Office 365, and helpdesk support to join our friendly team. Travel within the UK is required, so a full driving license and a car are necessary.

You will be the first point of contact for our UK sites regarding IT issues and requests. This role involves traveling to sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. It’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician eager to advance their career. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive team.

Essential qualifications include previous experience as an IT Support Technician, good knowledge of various IT systems and software, strong people skills, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-standard IT support via helpdesk by phone and email.
  2. Manage support tickets, take corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
  3. Proactively perform housekeeping tasks to enhance security and prevent future issues.
  4. Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, Office 365, and other platforms.
  5. Assist with PC moves, setups, configurations, and improvements.
  6. Maintain the IT inventory, ensuring it is always up to date.
  7. Coordinate with IT suppliers to resolve issues and implement updates and improvements.
Requirements
  • Willingness to frequently travel to various sites.
