Job summary

CV Screen is seeking an IT Support Technician for a well-established business in the construction sector. The role is based at the head office in the Kettering area, with site visits around three days a week to Midlands, the North West and East Anglia.

You'll take charge of first-line IT support across a multi-site organisation, keeping systems reliable and data secure. Salary £28,000 - £36,000 plus a company car and benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting end users with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, iOS and Android.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly; knowledge of Intune, networking, Windows Server, Hyper-V, VoIP or ISO27001 is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, and set up, deploy and maintain user PCs throughout their lifecycle
• Look after printers, scanners, webcams, projectors and Teams meeting room screens
• Manage user accounts, distribution lists and access permissions, and run IT inductions for new starters
• Keep the IT asset register and system and network records accurate and up to date
• Support ISO27001 compliance through patching and monitoring, and help choose new hardware and software

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an IT Support Technician for a well-established business in the construction sector. The role is based at the company's head office in the Kettering area, with site visits around three days a week to locations in the Midlands, the North West and East Anglia. You'll take charge of first-line IT support across a busy, multi-site organisation, keeping systems reliable and data secure. The salary is £28,000 - £36,000 plus a company car. This role would suit a hands-on technician who enjoys helping people and wants to build skills across devices, infrastructure and security.

£28,000 - £36,000 per year, depending on skills and experience, plus a company car and on-site parking.

Location

Kettering area head office, with site visits around three days a week. The office is easily commutable from Corby, Wellingborough, Northampton, Market Harborough, Rushden, Thrapston, Desborough and Rothwell.
