Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a shared operational function spanning IT and DevOps. The role focuses on second‑line support, infrastructure operations, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and service improvement.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot across Windows, Linux, and macOS, support infrastructure maintenance, and help drive operational maturity and reliability across the environment.

Qualifications

• Second-line troubleshooting experience across mixed operating systems.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS support.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Ability to monitor and respond to alerts effectively.
• Knowledge of patch management and vulnerability processes.
• Understanding networking fundamentals and access control concepts.
• Scripting or automation for routine tasks.
• Strong documentation and process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage operational support tickets across teams.
• Investigate technical and infrastructure issues to root cause.
• Provide advanced desktop and endpoint support across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Support infrastructure administration and maintenance activities.
• Monitor alerts and perform first-line remediation.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and patch management processes.
• Maintain and improve runbooks and documentation.
• Assist with onsite support and hands-on troubleshooting when required.
• Improve escalation quality and support processes.
• Contribute to operational stability and continuous improvement initiatives.
