Job summary

Interpro Technology Solutions Ltd in Fareham is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to support multiple companies with their IT requirements from our Fareham offices and may visit clients in Portsmouth and Southampton.

The role requires 1-2 years IT experience, strong communication, self-management, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will troubleshoot issues, support Windows OS, Office 365, SharePoint Online, and hardware while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting a range of IT issues and using initiative.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Experience with Office 365 and One Drive/SharePoint Online.
• Experience administering/installing Microsoft Windows OS.
• Desktop and server support experience.
• Good knowledge of PC hardware/components.
• Understanding of hosted environments (Web, Virtual Server, Dedicated).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and expand skills.
• Proven track record in managing customer relationships and delivering service.
• Familiarity with SLAs and ticketing systems to close and follow up tickets.
• Ability to gain basic security clearance for MOD sites.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for multiple client companies from Fareham office.
• Coordinate with clients in Portsmouth and Southampton during site visits.
• Diagnose and resolve IT issues promptly.
• Document solutions and maintain clear records.
• Ensure service delivery meets SLAs and follow up on tickets.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our growing team and support multiple companies with their IT requirements. You will be based at our offices in Fareham and may have regular visits to clients in the local area including Portsmouth and Southampton.

With a minimum of 1-2 years IT experience, you must be able to demonstrate confidence in your work and have great communication skills in person and on the phone. Working with users at all levels, you will need an ability to self-manage tasks and priorities, use initiative, remain calm under pressure and be highly organised.

You must have:

• Excellent ability to troubleshoot all manner of IT related issues and use initiative when unsure.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suites
• Experience in Cloud Services – Office 365 & One Drive/SharePoint Online
• Knowledge of Administering/Installing Microsoft Windows O/S
• Desktop/Server Support Experience
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and components.
• Fundamental understanding of hosted environments. (Web, Virtual Server, Dedicated)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for learning and improving their skills and knowledge
• A proven track record in managing customer relationships and providing excellent customer service in a customer delivery environment
• Knowledge of working with SLAs and using support ticketing systems to ensuring tickets are closed off and followed up on.
• Must be able to gain basic level security clearance for working with MOD sites and projects.
• Full UK driving license.
