Job summary

Synchro is hiring for a broadly experienced IT Support Engineer to join a large and growing organisation in Alcester. The role supports a broad portfolio of customers and technologies, with a path toward a lead position in the near future.

You will provide a wide range of technical support across Windows Server and Desktop, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and networking, with virtualization experience beneficial. Hybrid working is offered: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2nd/3rd line IT support experience across multiple customers.
• Strong Windows Server and Windows Desktop knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Good networking and virtualization understanding.
• Customer-focused with clear communication.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willing to participate in out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Comfortable working across multiple technologies and customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide wide range of technical support across multiple customers and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server/ desktops issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune configurations.
• Assist with networking and virtualization tasks.
• Participate in on-call rota when required.

Synchro are hiring for an broadly experienced IT Support Engineer to join a large and growing organisation, to support a broad & varied portfolio of customers and technologies.

This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in an 2nd / 3rd Line / Support Engineer looking to broaden their technical exposure beyond a single customer environment.

This role would also suit an experienced Engineer / Analyst looking for a 'step-up, as this role will likely become a lead position in the near future.

You will be providing a wide range of technical support across multiple customers. You will have abroad skillset, which will include strong troubleshooting skills across the Windows Server & Desktop environment. You will be adept in supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune, as well as working across networking. Ideally you will have previously supported virtualised environments and storage

Any experience with NetApp, Cisco, HPE, VMware, Microsoft Endpoint/Intune, SQL Server, Dynamics or firewalls would be advantageous although not essential.

This role is based out of Alcester, however hybrid remote working is on offer, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
