Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a busy multi-site IT team in Brockworth, Gloucestershire. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support across a range of technologies, ensuring a responsive IT service for users.

Based on-site with occasional travel to other sites, the role covers networks, devices, telephony and core business systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative and able to prioritise effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or IT Engineer role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to users across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues.
• Support wired and wireless networks, VPNs, and mobile technologies.
• Assist with Microsoft Teams telephony and mobile phone systems.
• Carry out basic network administration, including VLAN and wireless configuration.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure tickets are resolved efficiently.
