IT Support Engineer (1st Line Support)

Bristol

Monday to Friday

Salary: GBP 25,000 to GBP 28,000 + Benefits Package

An IT Support Engineer (1st Line) is needed by a stable and innovative IT MSP (Managed Service Provider) based in modern offices in central Bristol. Working closely with Directors and experienced 2nd and 3rd Line IT specialists, your skills will develop rapidly.

Candidates should have experience in 1st line IT Support. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint is essential for this role.

The team is small and collaborative, and growing as the business expands. The role is varied, dealing with a wide range of IT issues. The ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively with users is important.

The IT Support Engineer (1st Line) Role
  1. Provide 1st Line IT support.
  2. Assist a diverse user base with various IT issues.
  3. Test and set up new computers and troubleshoot PCs.
  4. Handle calls from clients, create support tickets, resolve basic IT issues, and escalate when necessary.
  5. Manage up to 20 different IT tasks per day.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in 1st line IT support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Qualifications are not mandatory but are advantageous.
