Hays is working with a law firm based in Bristol city centre to support recruitment for an IT Support Engineer (1st line). This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that could become permanent. The role offers hybrid working and a salary between £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
In this role, you’ll work in the IT service desk function, supporting users with technical support across hardware/deskside support and software/application support. You’ll support M365 applications as well as bespoke in-house applications. You’ll provide hands-on support for hardware troubleshooting and escalate issues to the 2nd line team. To be considered, you should have experience in a similar IT support role with broad exposure to Microsoft desktop and server technologies. Experience with Azure AD, Windows Server, Intune, and ITIL would be beneficial. Good time management, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.
