Job summary

Focus Group is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to support and install ICT solutions for customers across the Surrey/Berkshire/Hampshire area. This home-based role involves 3-4 days on site with customers, with salary up to £45,000 per year.

You will be a subject matter expert in at least one area (Networking, Server/Storage or Cloud) and lead projects within your specialty while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support or delivery role.
• Subject matter expert in at least one area: Networking, Server/Storage or Cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain ICT solutions on site or remotely.
• Escalate complex faults within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with project management, 3rd Line Engineers and Service Desk Agents.
• Lead small to large projects and mentor colleagues in your specialist area.
• Participate in customer calls to discuss requirements, scope and design.
• Document site surveys and IT infrastructure to a high standard.
