Job summary

Focus Group, a technology services company, is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to cover Central London, providing remote and onsite support and installations for a range of customers from SME to enterprise.

You will work as a subject matter expert in Networking, Server & storage or Cloud, visiting customer sites across Central London most days and aligning projects with client needs.

Qualifications

• Prior IT support or delivery experience, ideally in an MSP.
• Subject matter expert in at least one listed tech area with solid all‑round knowledge.
• Confident troubleshooter who can architect solutions within area of expertise.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites in Central London.
• Flexible hours and occasional overnight work for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer experience for installation and maintenance of ICT solutions, remote and onsite.
• Act as escalation point for complex faults in your area of specialism.
• Lead delivery of small, medium and large projects as part of a team.
• Audit and document client infrastructure and site surveys to a high standard.
• Attend customer calls for technical discussions, scoping and design.
• Mentor and support other engineers, sharing best practice and technical leadership.
