Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team is offering an IT Service Desk Student Placement in the UK. You’ll provide first‑line support across the business, helping to resolve issues while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work with experienced IT professionals and gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, incident management and end-user support processes. Based at our Enstone site, you’ll participate in device deployment, onboarding and access management activities, plus routine asset control

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in IT or CS and seeking an industry placement.
Interest in IT support, customer service and technology.
Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking and hardware.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support for incidents and requests.
Log, classify, prioritise and track tickets to resolution.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and apps.
Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when needed.
Assist with setup, deployment, configuration and maintenance of end-user devices.
Support user account administration including onboarding/offboarding.
Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions and IT procedures.
Assist with hardware asset management and inventory control.
Support meeting room tech and audiovisual equipment across the site.
Contribute to continuous IT service improvements and user satisfaction.
