Job summary

Atos is recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice in Birmingham. You will join a team delivering IT services to a public sector client, starting as 1st Line Support Desk Agent under an Apprentice program and working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.

You will be the face of Atos for clients, handling technical issues, guiding users, and growing into more responsibilities as your skills develop.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Genuine interest in IT and technology.
Logical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot.
Patience and a customer-focused mindset.
Willingness to collaborate and seek help when needed.

Responsibilities

Handle first point of contact via calls, emails, tickets and chats.
Log incidents accurately in the Service Management tool.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues; password resets and account unlocks.
Assist with software installation and Office 365 queries; basic hardware faults.
Escalate complex issues to higher support levels as needed.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and update users on ticket status.
Dedicate 20% of time to apprenticeship studies and coursework.
