About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic IT support team. If you are passionate about technology and skilled in troubleshooting, this role offers the chance to provide technical support to internal staff across various platforms.

The hours: 40 hours/week (Monday – Friday, rotating shifts between 6am and 4:30pm) & Saturday & Bank Holiday Rota: 7am – 1pm (with additional pay)

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
  3. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or other departments.
  4. Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
  5. Educate users on IT best practices and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  6. Collaborate with the team to improve internal processes.

About You

Technical Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Windows and MacOS systems.
  2. Experience with Office 365 (OneDrive, SharePoint), Active Directory, and Azure AD.
  3. Understanding of network fundamentals (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  4. Experience with Intune and mobile device management.
  5. Proficient in troubleshooting hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices).
  6. Basic knowledge of VoIP phones and softphone applications.
  7. Familiarity with endpoint security and cybersecurity best practices (MFA, password policies, phishing awareness).

Essential Requirements:

  1. At least 18 months of experience in a similar role.
  2. Genuine interest in technology.
  3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  4. Organized approach to work with a positive attitude.
  5. Full driving license.
